Bought this for my 6 month old her very first cup. My favorite thing about this cup is the straw it's designed to not come out when the baby pulls on it. It leaks very little but all cups do when they get banged around. I love that I can sterilize it when needed and the lid doesn't easily pop off. My little one bangs it around on the highchair pretty hard and dropped it and the top stays tight. It truly is a good cup!Love this cup!! Grandson was actually drinking from straw at 5 months old and loves this cup to chew on to help his gums while teething. He also likes to fill his mouth with cold water and let it dribble out <3Perfect training cup for my child. Easy transition from bottle to cup. Very sturdy, nice soft texture, and the feel is high quality. I like that it has a stopper on the straw and the included cleaning straw is a plus. I am glad they use LFGB standards for their cups as child product safety is important.Let me start from cons: such cups should have 2 straws in the pack. A kid can chew it, it may be lost or smth else. And it's absolutely mandatory for the straws to be sold separately also. It's such a shame not to be able just to replace the straw if needed. Also, mine was cut not properly from the upper side, exactly where the child drinks. And when I tried to remove that thin parts of silicone (that could rip off any second in the mouth), I damaged it a bit (although I was using just my nails). So it has a tiny deepening now, and I'm not happy about it.Not leak-proof, but the description doesn't say it is.Pros: very high quality in general, cute, nice colors, not huge, easy to hold.Very easy to clean and he loves holding it himself. The only bad thing is that it spills but I still love itThis was a great first cup for my little guy to use. Very easy to cleanI hesitated spending this much for this cup, but it’s worth it! It really is mostly leakproof. It’s very sturdy and the handles work great for my 11 month old to pick it up. When he drops it from his high chair, the lid stays on and the water stays put, unlike other cups. I bought some cheaper straw cups at the same time as this one, and they don’t compare. Just spend the extra money and get this cup - it's worth it!This is a very much cute an aestetically pleasing cup but it is not very functional for a curious one year old. My daughter likes to lift the cup up by the straw which then causes the lid to come off. It is cute for a child who understands the lid is not sturdy, not so much for a 1 year old.
