I have been trying hard to only order non plastic items. I hate plastic. Silicone is made from sand and I have several items I have ordered in the past without any problem. The item came in a box with plastic packaging. The envelope had a microfiber wash rag inside with my order. I did not order. Not happy with this plastic rag. I never ordered or wanted it. Now it is up to me to discard this wasteful item that can not be recycled or composted. Ugh.I love these for my dog food cans. They last a long time, but I did stick my finger through one, so be mindful how you put them on!I bought these to cover my 4 oz ramekins after I had Gastric Bypass so I could easily pack food and go. I wasn’t expecting much, especially since they were kind of stuck together in the bag, but they are actually awesome. I took cottage cheese and noodle less lasagne in the ramekins covered by this and No leaks! easy to apply, and I throw them in the dishwasher to clean, easy peasy. My only complaint is they aren’t smell proof, the smell of the lasagne and cottage cheese permeated the rest of the foods in my cold bag.Great little covers that fit cans from tiny cat food size to your everyday #2 cans, spaghetti sauce jars and even the chubbier cans from stew and large fruit. Very stretchy and hold the can airtight so I don't worry about a spill. Wash easily and store anywhere!I wouldn’t use these to pack a lunch but to simply store in the fridge or even items on the counter I love them!!I bought these too very the tops of some glass carafes I have that did not come with lids. I think these would work great to cover multiple items.Storing partially eaten food in the cups, bowls and beverage cans they were served in. Easy on, easy off and easy to clean.We used to transfer our canned goods from the can to a Tupperware after the can is opened. Now we simply use the silicone lid. They seal tight enough that you can lift the can by holding just the silicone lid. They have now become the most used sealing device in our kitchen.
