I made 18 jars of bread and butter pickles. Yes, it was a lot of work. I used 8 of my Bernardin snap lids and 10 of this brand. Processed all jars in a boiling water canner for 15 minutes. NONE of these Koomduk lids sealed, not one of them. I had to give the 10 jars away to friends and neighbors to be eaten now and kept in frifge. Save yourself some headache and buy a rue and trusted brand like Bernardin.Used these lids for canning, first batch all the lids collapsed and I had to start the process over from scratch. Second batch seemed to work ok. Not sure why the discrepancy between the two attempts to use these but I was a bit panicked when the first bunch collapsed. Use with caution.It wasn’t our first canning rodeo but it was the first time we didn’t buy brand name lids and the first time experiencing 90% lid failure. I wish I took pictures but the lids buckled. It was very disappointing after an afternoon of hard work processing 40L of tomatoes. Epic fail! I wish I planned ahead and bought brand name lids in time. Plan ahead people! Plan ahead. Or at minimum, avoid these lids.After all the work and chopping to make salsa, having the lid fail on not just one but most of them, even after I resealed and soaked them in a bath AGAIN and they failed again. My advice, stick with the Bernardino name brand! They work. These weren’t cheap but definitely not a good product at allLe joint de silicone est trop rigide et ne fait pas correctement son travail. Pour presque le même prix, j'aurais obtenu les Bernardin originaux et beaucoup moins de problèmes. À éviter à tout prix.
